A port bow view of a C/B square quartered trader junk at anchor in the Singapore River. The vessel is three masted and her fore and main lug sails are stowed The mizzen sail cannot be seen. She has a peaked bow and a raised stern. The photographer was at Singapore on four occasions during 1937 and 1938: 9 April to 1 May 1937, 13 January to 26 February 1938, 9 March to 23 March 1938 and 17 September to 30 September 1938.
