A Sampan on the concrete ramp at the RAF flying boat base at Seletar, Singapore

A port side view of the after part of a sampan on the concrete ramp of RAF Seletar flying boat base on the Johore Strait at Singapore. The boat is probably new and the photographer is looking aft and to starboard into the boat from near the bow showing the mast tabernacle on the left and two storage lockers in the stern. The photographer was at Singapore on four occasions during 1937 and 1938: 9 April to 1 May 1937, 13 January to 26 February 1938, 9 March to 23 March 1938 and 17 September to 30 September 1938. Negatives numbers P34024 to P34026 inclusive are of the same boat, taken on the same occasion.
