Skulling a sampan at Penang
A slightly distant bow view of a sampan being skulled by a standing man in Penang harbour. The boat has occuli on either bow and the number 38 is inside the transom. Local, coastal and deep sea steamships are in the background. The photographer was at Penang 28 February to 7 March 1938. A vertical format negative. Negatives numbers P34029 and P34030 are of the same vessel and person.
