A sampan at Penang
A starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of a sampan being skulled by a seated man in Penang harbour. The boat has occuli on either bow and the number 38 is inside the transom. A deep sea steamship is in the background. The photographer was at Penang 28 February to 7 March 1938. A vertical format negative. Negatives numbers P34029 and P34030 are of the same vessel and person.
