A port near broadside view of the trader type junk P.194 under sail at Penang

A port very near broadside viewtaken from just ahead of the beam, of a two masted trader type junk under sail at Penang. She has a raking stem, an occuli on her bow and an awning rigged aft. She has two lug sails set, is listing slightly to port and her aft hold is open. Her port number is P.194. The photographer was at Penang from 28 February to 7 March 1938. Negatives numbers P34044 to P34048 inclusive are of the same vessel.
