A close up view of the stern of a Yeungkong fisher type junk berthed at Aberdeen, Hong Kong. The photographer is fine off the starboard quarter and the junk has the port number 4776HC painted on the hull to starboard of the rudder, which is perforated. Her lug sails are stowed fore and aft. Two sampans and another junk, registered 5950HC, are on her port side and the junk is drying her nets from the mainmast. The photographer was in the area on four occasions: 6 to 28 May 1937; 14 October 1937 to 8 January 1938; 14 April to 4 June 1938 and 8 to 12 September 1938.
