A starboard side view taken from ahead of the beam of a Hong Kong fisher d.w. type junk under sail at Hong Kong

A starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Hong Kong fisher d.w. type junk 3581NO under sail at Hong Kong. She is a small two masted junk with a single lug sail set at each mast and crewmen are adjusting her foresail. Other members of the crew are using skulling oars. Her port number is painted on the starboard bow and she has a boat suspended over the side amidships. She appears to have vegetation behind rails at the stern. Larger junks are berthed in the background. The photographer was in the area in the following periods: 6 to 28 May 1937; 14 October 1937 to 8 January 1938; 14 April to 4 June 1938 and 8 to 12 September 1938.
