A starboard side view, taken from well abaft the beam, of the Fairey Swordfish I torpedo bomber reconnaissance biplane aircraft K8391, coded 952, of 824 Squadron Fleet Air Arm, parked on Kai Tak airfield, Hong Kong with other 824 Squadron aircraft. K8391 was delivered to the Fleet Air Arm 7 December 1936 and was issued to 824 Squadron in January 1937. The aircraft was written off in a deck landing accident on the aircraft carrier Eagle (1918) on 30 November 1937. 824 Squadron disembarked from the Eagle (1918) to Kai Tak between 6 May and 28 May, 19 October and 4 November and 5 November to 30 November 1937.
