A close view of the port bow of the Hong Kong fisher d.w. type junk 3661HA on a slipway at Hong Kong. The photographer is looking to starboard from just ahead of the bow showing the forepart of the junk as far aft as the mainmast. Her port number 3661HA is painted on the port side of the bow and her lug sails are stowed fore and aft. The tops of her masts are out of the picture. The photographer was in the area in the following periods: 6 to 28 May 1937; 14 October 1937 to 8 January 1938; 14 April to 4 June 1938 and 8 to 12 September 1938. Negatives numbers P34139, P34147 and P34166 are of the same vessel but on different occasions.
