A close view, taken from fine off the bow, of the swim headed bow of an Hangchow Bay trader type junk anchored at Shanghai. Her starboard anchor is down and her foresail is stowed fore and aft. An highly decorative painting resembling a dragon head is prominent on the face of the bow. A sampan with the number 11104 on the bulwark is alongside.
