A close view of the starboard side of the stern of the Swatow trader type junk T885H at anchor at Hong Kong but the precise location is unknown. The top of the mizzen mast and everything forward of the waist are out of the picture. Painted on the starboard side at the stern are the port number T885H, a block of three Chinese characters and the number 187. The junk has a tall perforated rudder mounted on an angled rudder post. Two other junks are in the left background. The photographer was in the area in the following periods: 6 to 28 May 1937; 14 October 1937 to 8 January 1938; 14 April to 4 June 1938 and 8 to 12 September 1938.
