A tarpaulin and rope fenders are draped over the side while working cargo. Her bow and stern and the tops of her masts are out of the picture. Other kotia type craft are in the background. The photographer was taking passage in the heavy cruiser Cumberland (1926) from Singapore to the U.K. at the time.
