A close starboard quarter view of the Pechili trader type junk 1091 moored at Tsingtao. The tops of her mizzen mast and quarter mast are out of the picture, as is everything forward of the poop. The massive rudder post and tiller are prominent. A steam driven bucket ladder dredger is in the left background. The photographer's ship was at Tsingtao on the two occasions 22 July to 13 August 1937 and 17 August to 5 September 1937. Number 1091 can be seen in negatives numbers P34324 and P34327 to P34333 inclusive.
