A distant port broadside view of a Pechili trader type junk under sail in the Gulf of Chihli off Weihaiwei. She is a five masted vessel and has a single lug sail set on each mast. The photographer's ship was at Weihaiwei on five occasions; 3 June to 21 July 1937, 14 to 17 August 1937, 6 September to 7 October 1937, 8 June to 12 August 1938 and 20 August to 4 September 1938.
