A port bow of the fully rigged model of the Pechili trader type junk number 1510 at the Roman Catholic Church at Liu Kung Tao, near Weihaiwei. the five masted model is carrying a bow sail, a foresail, a staysail, a mainsail, a main topsail, a port side studding sail and a quarter sail. A mizzen sail is hidden behind the mainsail.
The model, which is displayed on a wooden stand on a box, was commissioned by D W Waters and made by Tung Ya and his assistants at the back of the Roman Catholic Church in Liu Kung Tao, near Weihaiwei. It is now part of the NMM collection with the reference AAE0160. Negatives numbers P34339 to P34346 are of this model.
