A starboard quarter view of the four masted Ta-Pu-To trader type junk 650 anchored at Tsingtao. She has a large awning rigged above the waist, her port number painted on her hull and a small lighter alongside amidships. To the left is a junk fitted with leeboards and with the port number 1521. The photographer's ship was at Tsingtau in the periods 22 July to 13 August 1937 and 17 August to 5 September 1937. Negatives numbers P34348 to P34351 inclusive are of this vessel. A vertical format negative.
