A bow view, taken from fine off the starboard bow, of the four masted Ta-Pu-To trader type junk 650 anchored at Tsingtao. She has a large awning rigged above the waist, an occuli on the bow and her port number painted on her hull. The tops of her bow, fore and main masts are out of the picture. a small boat is alongside amidships. The photographer's ship was at Tsingtau in the periods 22 July to 13 August 1937 and 17 August to 5 September 1937. Negatives numbers P34348 to P34351 inclusive are of this vessel. A vertical format negative.
