A port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the five masted Ta-Pu-To trader type junk 1046 under sail off Weihaiwei. She has single lug sails set at all five masts, an occuli on her bow and her port number is painted twice on her hull. The photographer's ship was at Weihaiwei in the periods 3 June to 21 July 1937, 14 to 17 August 1937, 6 September to 7 October 1937, 8 June to 12 August 1938 and 20 August to 4 September 1938. Negatives numbers P34352 to P34354 inclusive are of this vessel.
