A slightly distant starboard near broadside view, taken from just abaft the beam, of the three masted Pechili trader type junk 1755 under sail in the Gulf of Chihli off Weihaiwei. She has single lug sails set at each mast, a stowed leeboard amidships and no stern gallery. Her port number is painted twice of her hull. The photographer's ship was at Weihaiwei in the periods 3 June to 21 July 1937, 14 to 17 August 1937, 6 September to 7 October 1937, 8 June to 12 August 1938 and 20 August to 4 September 1938. Negative number P34369 is a stern view of this vessel.
