A distant stern view of the Pechili trader type junk 1755 under sail in the Gulf of Chihli off Weihaiwei

A distant stern view, taken from fine off the port quarter, of the three masted Pechili trader type junk 1755 under sail in the Gulf of Chihli off Weihaiwei. She has single lug sails set at each mast, a stowed leeboard amidships and no stern gallery. The photographer's ship was at Weihaiwei in the periods 3 June to 21 July 1937, 14 to 17 August 1937, 6 September to 7 October 1937, 8 June to 12 August 1938 and 20 August to 4 September 1938. A vertical format negative. Negative number P34368 is a starboard side view of this vessel.
