A stern view of an high stern Pechili trader type junk moored at Tsingtao. She is three masted with leeboards amidships and a stern gallery. Her rudder is hoisted and the tops of her main and mizzen masts are out of the picture. The similar junks numbered 1470 and 161? are on either side of her. The photographer's ship was at Tsingtao in the periods 22 July to 14 August 1937 and 17 August to 5 September 1937. Negative number P34371 is a starboard quarter view of this junk. A vertical format negative.
