Two Tsingtao fisher type junks moored at Tsingtao
Two two masted Tsingtao fisher type junks moored to the shore at Tsingtao. The junk on the left is moored bow-on and the one on the right is moored stern-on. Their sails are stowed, the rudder of the vessel on the left is raised and the craft on the right has occuli on the bow. The photographer's ship was at Tsingtao in the periods 22 July to 13 August 1937 and 17 August to 5 September 1937. A vertical format negative.
