A close port quarter view of the two masted Tsingtao fisher type junk 1608 moored at Tsingtao. An awning is rigged over her stowed mainsail and another is draped over her tiller. Her rudder has been raised and unshipped. The vessel's port number is painted on the port quarter. Only the craft's stern is in the picture. Other junks are alongside her. The photographer's ship was at Tsingtao in the periods 22 July to 13 August 1937 and 17 August to 5 September 1937. A vertical format negative.
