A port bow view of the Tsingtao fisher type junks 1213 and 3975 moored stern-on to the shore at Tsingtao

A port bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the Tsingtao fisher type junks 1213 and 3975 moored stern-on to the shore at Tsingtao. 1213 is a three masted vessel and has an awning rigged abaft her mainmast. An occuli and the vessel's port number are painted on the port bow and the number X008 is painted in a circle on the flat bow. 3975 is a two masted craft and her port number and an occuli are on the port bow. The photographer's ship was at Tsingtao in the periods 22 July to 13 August 1937 and 17 August to 5 September 1937.
