The Chefoo fisher or small trader type junk 1022 being sculled at Tsingtao

A starboard side view, taken from abaft the beam, of the Chefoo fisher or small trader type junk 1022 being sculled at Tsingtao. her sails are stowed and she is being sculled by her crew of two. She is deeply laden and her port number 1022 is painted twice on her hull. The top of her mainmast is out of the picture. The photographer's ship was at Tsingtao in the periods 22 July to 13 August 1937 and 17 August to 5 September 1937. Negative number P34393 is also of this junk.
