The Antung trader type junk 0958 berthed at Tsingtao

A port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Antung trader type junk 0958 moored stern-on to the shore at Tsingtao. Her fore and main sails are stowed fore and aft and she has a large awning rigged over her mainsail. The number 1055 is painted in small numbers next to her port numbers fore and aft on the hull. A notice stuck on her accommodation shelter reads "International Stores". The tops of her fore and main masts are out of the picture. The photographer was at Tsingtao in the periods 22 July to 13 August 1937 and 17 August to 5 September 1937. Negative number P34410 is also of this vessel.
