A starboard side view, taken from abaft the beam, of an Antung trader type junk under sail at Weihaiwei. She has three single lug sails set and is deeply laden. In the right background is the Royal Navy sloop Foxglove (1915). The photographer was at Weihaiwei in the periods 3 June to 21 July 1937, 14 to 17 August 1937, 6 September to 7 October 1937, 8 June to 12 August 1938 and 20 August to 4 September 1938.
