A close view of the sterns, taken from off the starboard quarter, of the Antung trader type junks 2991 and 1792 moored with other junks at Tsingtao. They both have a ladder hanging over the stern rail and their mizzen sails are stowed fore and aft. Their mast tops are out of the picture. The photographer was in the area between the periods 22 July to 13 August 1937 and 17 August to 5 September 1937. Negatives numbers N34408 and N34411 also include junk 1792.
