A port broadside view of a three masted pole junk under sail in Northern Chinese waters. She has single lug sails set at each mast and has a substantial deck cargo of logs. The photographer's ship was in Northern Chinese waters in the periods 3 June to 10 October 1937 and 8 June to 4 September 1938.
