On board the Ningpo fisher type junk 0171 anchored at Weihaiwei. The photographer is looking forward from abaft the main mast showing the base of the mainmast and the hoops of the spritsail, the foremast and the starboard anchor stowed inboard. The photographer's ship was at Weihaiwei in the periods 3 June to 21 July 1937, 14 - 17 August 1937, 6 September to 7 October 1937, 8 June to 12 August 1938 and 20 August to 4 September 1938. A vertical format negative. Negatives numbers P34454 to P34458 inclusive are of this vessel.
