On board the Ningpo fisher type junk 0171 anchored at Weihaiwei. The photographer is looking aft from abreast the foremast showing the base of the mainmast and the hoops of the spritsail, the poop and the rudder post at the stern. The photographer's ship was at Weihaiwei in the periods 3 June to 21 July 1937, 14 - 17 August 1937, 6 September to 7 October 1937, 8 June to 12 August 1938 and 20 August to 4 September 1938. A vertical format negative with a light flare in the top right corner. Negatives numbers P34454 to P34458 inclusive are of this vessel.
