The Ningpo trader type junk 0032 under sail at Shanghai

A slightly distant starboard near broadside view, taken from just abaft the beam, of the Ningpo trader type junk 0032 under sail at Shanghai. She is a three masted vessel with lug sails set at each mast. She has occuli at the bow and her port number is painted twice on her hull. Her boat and a sampan are being towed astern. The photographer's ship was in Northern Chinese waters in the periods 3 June to 10 October 1937 and 8 June to 4 September 1938.
