A bow view of the fisher sampan 128 on the shore at Weihaiwei
A bow view, taken from dead ahead, of the fisher sampan 128 pulled up on the beach at Weihaiwei. She has occuli on each bow, her port number is painted on the forward bulwark and she has three thole pins on her bow. The photographer's ship was at Weihaiwei in the periods 3 June to 21 July 1937, 14 to 17 August 1937, 6 September to 7 October 1937, 8 June to 12 August 1938 and 20 August to 4 September 1938. A vertical format negative. Negatives numbers P34470 to P34472 are of this boat.
