A slightly distant port near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the Weihaiwei fisher type junk 645 under sail off Weihaiwei. She has single lug sails set on each mast and her port number is painted twice on the hull. The photographer's ship was at Weihaiwei in the periods 3 June to 21 July 1937, 14 to 17 August 1937, 6 September to 7 October 1937, 8 June to 12 August 1938 and 20 August to 4 September 1938.
