A starboard bow view of the small Fukien fisher type junk 1358H anchored at Shaukiwan, Hong Kong

A starboard bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the small Fukien fisher type junk 1358H anchored at Shaukiwan, Hong Kong. She is two masted and her sails are stowed fore and aft. A matting is draped over her mainsail. The number 1358H is painted on the bulwark forward. Other junks and in the background. The photographer was in the area in the following periods: 6 to 28 May 1937; 14 October 1937 to 8 January 1938; 14 April to 4 June 1938 and 8 to 12 September 1938. Negatives numbers P34558 and P34559 are of this vessel and were taken on the same occasion.
