A model of a Yeungkong fisher type junk
A port broadside view of a fully rigged model of a Yeungkong fisher type junk. The model, which is displayed on a wooden stand on a table, was commissioned by D W Waters and made by Tung Ya and his assistants at the back of the Roman Catholic Church in Liu Kung Tao, near Weihaiwei. The model has a fishing net draped between the fore, main and mizzen masts. Negatives numbers P34571 to P34578 inclusive were taken on the same occasion.
