Oval patch box commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). The surface is enamelled, the base and sides pink, the lid with a tinted transfer of naval trophies, an inscription within a laurel border: 'Like Nelson may each Briton be / A friend to King and Country'.
