Patch box
Oval patch box with a mirror inside the lid, commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). The surface is enamelled, the base and sides pink, the white lid painted in colour with two crossed trumpets and a laurel wreath tied with a blue bow. Inscribed within the wreath 'BRITONS GRATITUDE AND NELSONS VALOR'.
