Patch box
Oval patch box with a mirror inside the lid, commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). The surface is enamelled, the base and sides pink. The lid is painted with a coloured portrait of Nelson within a pink and gilt border with white spots, inscribed above: 'In Memory of Adl Lord Nelson Octr 21st 1805'.
