Patch box
Oval patch box with a mirror inside the lid, commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). The surface is enamelled, the base and sides blue. The lid has a border of white spots and is painted with a depiction of the line of battle at Trafalgar surrounded by the inscription 'England expects every man', 'To do his Duty Nelson Oct. 21 1805'.
