Patch box
Oval patch box commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). The surface is enamelled, the base and sides pink, the lid white, with a black transfer design of a memorial surmounted by a bust, willow trees behind. Inscribed on the tomb: 'May the spirit of Nelson Each Briton inspire.' The interior of the box is white with a mirror inside the lid.
