Patch box
Oval enamelled patch box with a mirror inside the lid, commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). The base and sides are white with 'leaf' stripe decoration in blue, a red spotted motif between each stripe. The lid is painted with a polychrome battle scene surrounded by a white border inscribed: 'The Glorious Victory of Adm Lord Nelson Trafalgar'.
