Patch box
Oval patch box with a mirror inside the lid, commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). The surface is enamelled royal blue. The lid has a border of gold with white spots. In the centre, a gilt inscription within two small anchors 'Nelson's Valour his successor will admire'.
