Cunard Steamship Co Ltd notebooks and single playing card

A black leather case with an emblem in gold on the flap. The pack also includes two cards that state the advantages of using the Braketless system in ship construction. Both cards are held together with two metal rings and each have small pads of lined paper inside. The back of both notebooks contains a calender, one for the years 1931-1932. Also included with the notebooks is a playing card. One side has the image of a joker holding a playing card in one hand and a stick with a clowns head on top in the other. The back of the playing cards has a white out border. The inner section has a blue background with two inverted images, that shows a yellow circle with three red and grey smoking ship funnels along with 4 seagulls flying around them. The word 'CUNARD' is written in the corner of both images.
