Box
A box reputedly the property of Admiral Thomas Graves (1725-1802). Wooden box covered with papier maché, moulded and painted with paterae and acanthus on the sides. The lid has escutcheons in the corners and a basket of fruit in the centre. Inside the lid, the mirror would have been attached. The box contains a tray with compartments.
