Wafer box
Wafer box commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). A rectangular ivory box with a hinged lid, lined with red velvet. The lid is decorated with gold piqué-work foliage surrounding a white Tassie vitreous paste cameo of Nelson on a black background. This has an oval gold mount inscribed 'ENGLAND EXPECTS EVERY MAN TO DO HIS DUTY'.
