Box

A box with a carving of the arms of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). The oak box has a lock, with a key attached on string. Carvings in soft wood have been attached to the lid and depict the coat of arms of Nelson, surrounded with a man on one side and a lion on the other. Above the man is a crown with another motif above it and above the lion is the stern of the ship, San Josef. The inside of the bow is lined with red velvet.
