Box commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). A round, black lacquered box. The lid is painted with a portrait of Nelson (after Lemuel Francis Abbott). The base is painted with an anchor, gun, shot and a laurel wreath. The edge of the base and the lid with gilt metal mounts.
