Snuff box
Snuff box said to have belonged to Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805).
Slim gold and champlevé enamel mosaic snuff box decorated with diaper pattern coloured squares in dark red, dark blue, light blue, green and pink. Rectangular with a plain gold edge with curved corners. Part of the top forms a hinged lid with a scrolled lip. Inside the lid is inscribed 'N & B' surmounted by a ducal coronet.
Collected by J. Corbett MP for Worcester and presented by his brother to Greenwich Hospital.
