Tobacco box

Tobacco box commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805).The lid is cast, in th centre a profile portrait of Nelson facing left. The base is turned, the sides plain apart fom two horizontal grooves. The base is plain. This is much heavier than the other examples and the lettering is crude. On the lid: 'ADMIRAL NELSON'. Round the edge 'ENGLAND EXPECTS EVERY MAN TO DO HIS DUTY. TRAFALGAR.OCT XXI MDCCCV.' A reproduction or fake.
